The Perfect Addiction TV anime has set its Japanese premiere details, confirming its tvk broadcast slot and first streaming platforms for July, as reported by GUSH.
The BALLOON Project adaptation will begin airing on tvk, also known as Television Kanagawa, on July 8. New episodes are scheduled for Wednesdays from 23:25 JST.
Streaming will begin earlier the same day. According to the anime’s official schedule, Perfect Addiction will start fastest advance streaming on July 8 at 22:00 JST through d Anime Store, AnimeFesta, and Anime Times.
Additional Japanese streaming platforms will begin carrying the anime from July 11 at 24:00 JST. Listed services include U-NEXT, Prime Video, FOD, DMM TV, Hulu, Lemino, TELASA, Nico Nico, Bandai Channel, and other platforms.
The schedule update follows the anime’s earlier cast and staff reveal. Yohei Azakami voices Akihito Kuji, while Soma Saito voices Sae Takatsuki. Both actors also led the 2024 drama CD adaptation, with Azakami as Akihito and Saito as Sae.
Perfect Addiction is based on Kaoruko Miyama’s BL manga from Kaiohsha’s GUSH Comics label. The story follows Akihito, a good-looking college student used to casual relationships, and Sae, a cool classmate whose beauty and difficult attitude become the center of Akihito’s frustration and attraction.
The anime is part of BALLOON Project, a BL-focused animation label using DNP’s “Light Anime” production method. Animation production is handled by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio.
No international streaming information has been announced in the sources checked. For now, Perfect Addiction is confirmed to begin airing and streaming in Japan on July 8.
