Comments are welcome on FujoWire. This site is meant to be a place for BL readers to talk about manga, novels, manhwa, artbooks, drama CDs, adaptations, goods, events, artists, publishers, and fandom culture. To keep the comment section readable and safe for everyone, please follow these guidelines.
Basic Rules
Read the article before commenting.
Stay reasonably on topic. Casual conversation is fine in open discussion posts, but article comments should still relate to the article or the subject around it.
Be respectful toward other commenters. You can disagree, criticize a work, or debate an opinion without insulting the person behind it.
No harassment, threats, stalking, dogpiling, or personal attacks.
No hateful comments. This includes racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, xenophobia, or other targeted abuse.
No trolling, baiting, spamming, or posting only to start fights.
Do not post someone’s private information, including real names, addresses, workplaces, private social media accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, or screenshots from locked/private spaces.
No impersonation of artists, publishers, translators, staff, or other commenters.
BL, NSFW, and Spoiler Rules
FujoWire covers BL, including mature works, but the comment section is not a place to post explicit images or sexually graphic material.
No nudity or pornographic images.
If discussing mature or NSFW content, keep it text-only and use clear content warnings.
Mark spoilers clearly before discussing major story events, endings, deaths, breakups, identity reveals, or late-series twists. If spoiler tags are available, use them. If not, write “SPOILER WARNING” before the spoiler.
Do not post links to illegal scans, piracy sites, leaked chapters, ripped drama CDs, stolen fan translations, or other unauthorized uploads.
Do not ask for illegal download links.
Fandom Etiquette
Do not attack people over ships, tropes, favorites, dislikes, age, gender, sexuality, or how they entered BL fandom.
Criticism of a work is allowed. Harassment of creators, translators, actors, staff, fans, or commenters is not.
Do not use the comments to spread unverified rumors about real people.
Live-action BL discussion is allowed when relevant, especially when it relates to manga, manhwa, novels, or adaptations, but actor gossip, invasive speculation, and fanwar bait may be removed.
Moderation
FujoWire may edit, remove, or close comments at any time if they break these rules or disrupt the community.
Repeat offenders may be blocked or banned.
If you see a comment that breaks the rules, please report it instead of continuing the fight.
This policy may be updated as the site grows.
