PlayMeow Games has released Until the Abyss, an adult Boys’ Love visual novel from maratan and BlueBerry, for PC via Steam.

The game is a follow-up to Sub for You, also referred to in English materials as Obey Me Forever, and shifts the focus to KAT, the masked man connected to the previous game’s story. In Until the Abyss, he encounters Li Yan, a young man who has spent years being controlled by others and no longer knows how to live normally.

The story follows Li Yan after six years of confinement, where he was treated less like a person than an object to be owned. KAT takes him in, but the game does not frame that relationship as a simple rescue. Instead, Until the Abyss builds its drama around Sub/Dom dynamics, dependency, control and the question of whether Li Yan can regain a sense of self while staying attached to the person who gives him structure. Players make choices throughout the visual novel that affect the direction of Li Yan and KAT’s relationship. The official materials describe routes that can push Li Yan toward recovery or keep the pair locked into a more possessive bond. That gives the game a heavier tone than a standard romance release, with its adult content warnings covering BDSM themes, sexual content and psychological material. The Steam listing also notes a CG gallery feature, allowing players to revisit unlocked scenes after progressing through the story.

Until the Abyss launched on June 9, 2026. The game is available now on Steam, with Chinese-language coverage also noting release through PlayMeow’s platform. Because of its explicit content and subject matter, the game is intended for adult players.
