The Perfect Addiction TV anime has revealed its ending theme and second promotional video.
The new update was released on June 27, the opening day of Boys Love Tokyo 2026 in Ikebukuro. It follows the anime’s recent confirmation of its July 8 tvk broadcast and Japan streaming schedule.
The ending theme is “ADDICTED,” a character song performed by Akihito Kuji, voiced by Yohei Azakami, and Sae Takatsuki, voiced by Soma Saito. Tonbi handled the song’s lyrics, composition, and arrangement.
The promotional video has also been released through the anime’s official site and BALLOON Project social channels. The new PV gives another look at Akihito and Sae ahead of the anime’s July premiere, while also previewing the newly announced ending theme.
The update also includes new cast comments from Azakami and Saito. Azakami, who returns from the drama CD adaptation, said he was grateful to continue with the role and described the back-and-forth with Saito as comfortable and well-paced. Saito also noted that he had previously been involved with the title through its voice cast and was happy to return to the work in animated form.
Perfect Addiction is based on Kaoruko Miyama’s BL manga from Kaiohsha’s GUSH Comics label. The story follows Akihito, a good-looking college student used to casual relationships, and Sae, a cool classmate whose beauty and distant attitude become the focus of Akihito’s frustration and attraction.
The anime is part of BALLOON Project, a BL-focused animation label using DNP’s Light Anime production method. Animation production is handled by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio.
Perfect Addiction will begin streaming first on July 8 at 22:00 JST through d Anime Store, AnimeFesta, and Anime Times. It will then air on tvk, also known as Television Kanagawa, from 23:25 JST the same night. Additional Japanese streaming platforms are scheduled to begin carrying the anime from July 11 at 24:00 JST.
