Ize Press has announced an English print release for Legroom, Dacto’s BL manhwa about captivity, memory loss, and a relationship that revolves around psychological suspense.
The announcement was made during Anime Expo 2026 as part of Ize Press’ latest group of Korean webcomic licenses. The English print edition of Legroom is planned for release in January 2027.
Legroom follows Gitae Song, a young man who wakes up trapped in a room with no memory of how he got there. He quickly realizes something is wrong beyond the locked door: one of his legs has been cut off, and the only person caring for him is Jihun Cha, a man who brings him food while treating him with unsettling tenderness. Gitae wants to escape, but Jihun’s attachment to him makes escape dangerous. As Gitae begins to piece together what happened, the story moves through a mix of confinement horror, memory gaps, obsession, and survival. The series also takes place against a zombie-apocalypse backdrop, adding another layer to Gitae’s uncertainty about what is real, what he has forgotten, and why Jihun is keeping him alive.
The manhwa is written and illustrated by Dacto.
Ize Press is Yen Press’ imprint focused on Korean content, including print editions of Korean webcomics and novels. The publisher has previously released several BL and Korean webcomic titles in English print, including Semantic Error, Murderous Lewellyn’s Candlelit Dinner, and Seven Sundays.
