Here U Are is getting a TV anime adaptation, with Crunchyroll set to stream the series.
The adaptation of DJun’s BL webtoon was announced during Anime Expo 2026. A teaser visual, teaser PV, main cast, and main staff have been revealed. A release date has not been announced yet.
The anime centers on Yang Yu, a second-year student in Kato University’s design department who is sociable and well-liked, and Huan Li, a quiet first-year student whose expressionless manner often causes others to misunderstand him. After an uneasy first meeting, the two continue crossing paths as their relationship begins to change.
Yuki Inoue will voice Yang Yu, while Ryota Suzuki will voice Huan Li. Tomoe Makino is directing the anime at Rouseact. Aiki Kawamura is handling series composition, Asami Hayakawa is designing the characters, and Shinya Kiyozuka is composing the music.
The original Here U Are webtoon is written and illustrated by DJun. According to the Japanese announcement, the series has passed 390 million cumulative views worldwide as of April 2026.
In Japan, Here U Are is available through LINE Manga. To mark the anime announcement, LINE Manga is holding a campaign that makes the first 20 chapters free to read through August 3 at 11:59 p.m. JST.
