The announcement was made around the “BL Comics Label ‘GUSH COMICS’ Industry Panel” at Anime Expo 2026. According to the English release handout shown at the event, GUSH COMICS EN plans to release two titles per month. The first two July titles are The Wolf Wants to Be Attacked by Nozomu Hiiragi and Fateful Love Meter by Kaoruko Miyama. The handout also notes that the English titles are tentative.

The Wolf Wants to Be Attacked is the English release of Nozomu Hiiragi’s Ookami-kun wa Osowaretai.

The manga follows Ryu, a cool and handsome university student who is deeply in love with Shingo, a guitarist in a popular rock band at the same school. After Shingo cries with him over his grandmother’s death, Ryu tries to thank him, but his feelings come out clumsily and turn into a confession. The two begin dating, but Ryu’s impatience and physical desire clash with Shingo’s unexpectedly soft, affectionate way of loving him.

English readers can currently find The Wolf Wants to Be Attacked on Google Play Books, Coolmic, and Kobo.

The second July release is Kaoruko Miyama’s Fateful Love Meter, originally titled Unmeiteki Love Meter.

The story follows Shizuki, a former celebrity and school prince who can see balloons above people’s heads. These balloons reveal people’s emotions through their shapes, giving Shizuki a strange but intimate window into how others really feel. One day, after being chased by a fan, Shizuki is rescued by Shinozuka, a student rumored to be the school’s most frightening delinquent. Instead, Shinozuka turns out to be a longtime fan of Shizuki, and his feelings appear brighter and more sincere than anyone else’s.

English readers can currently find Fateful Love Meter on Google Play Books, Coolmic, and Kobo.
