Playmeow, ACG creator and BlueBerry have released Elton Manor: Requiem of the Cursed Roses, a BL mystery adventure game for PC via Steam.
The game follows An, a young man who wakes up in an old manor at the beginning of the 20th century with no clear memory of how he got there. Everyone around him calls him “Anna” and treats him as a maid, leaving him to play along with the role while trying to understand what happened to his identity and memories. That strange setup quickly turns into a murder mystery. After visitors arrive at the manor, a locked-room killing pulls An deeper into the house’s secrets. The case is tied to old rumors surrounding the manor’s former master, a maid from the past and a curse that has been left to rot inside the estate for years.
Unlike a standard visual novel, Elton Manor mixes story scenes with exploration, clue gathering and puzzle-solving. Players move through the manor as more areas open up, speak with characters, investigate details in the environment and piece together what happened during each case. There are also timed escape sequences and daily work tasks tied to An’s role as a maid, giving the game a rhythm that moves between routine, investigation and sudden horror.
The story also includes two central male characters connected to An’s situation. Aaron, the grandson of the manor’s owner, appears gentle but keeps his own distance. Shen Minghao, a businessman who comes to the manor under suspicious circumstances, presents himself as someone who may be able to help. Their motives are part of the mystery, and the game builds its BL routes around suspicion, emotional tension and the question of who can actually be trusted.
An official Steam announcement also highlighted the game’s Japanese voice cast. The three main characters are voiced by Japanese voice actors, with Anna voiced by Matsuri Mizuguchi, Aaron voiced by Masahiro Yamanaka and Shen Minghao voiced by Koji Kawakami. The voice PVs were designed from each character’s first-person perspective, giving players a look at the manor through different emotional angles before the full release.
The Steam listing notes that the game includes more than 25 CGs and illustrations, three side stories, exploration, conversations, cleaning tasks and romance elements. It supports English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese text, with Japanese audio included.
