Animate USA has shared a CLAMP FANS SHOP goods lineup that includes nine plush designs, with several of CLAMP’s most recognizable emotionally charged male pairings represented across the selection.
The plush lineup includes Subaru Sumeragi and Seishiro Sakurazuka from Tokyo Babylon, Kamui Shirou and Fuma Monou from X, and Kurogane and Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. For fans who follow CLAMP’s long history of intense, tragic, and heavily shipped male relationships, those choices make immediate sense. Subaru and Seishiro remain one of CLAMP’s defining doomed pairings, Kamui and Fuma carry the apocalyptic weight of X, and Kurogane and Fai have long been one of Tsubasa’s most beloved emotional anchors.
What stands out is who does not appear in the plush section: Touya Kinomoto and Yukito Tsukishiro from Cardcaptor Sakura.
That absence feels a little strange because Touya and Yukito are one of CLAMP’s most familiar male-male relationships, especially for fans who first encountered CLAMP through Cardcaptor Sakura or its English-language broadcast history as Cardcaptors. Touya’s devotion to Yukito, his understanding of Yukito’s other self, and their mutual feelings, made the two one of the series’ most enduring emotional relationships outside Sakura and Syaoran.
The omission is especially noticeable because Cardcaptor Sakura is otherwise present in the same CLAMP FANS SHOP lineup. The goods image includes Cardcaptor Sakura items such as button badges, a wall scroll featuring Sakura and Syaoran, and other original-art merchandise. But in the plush category, the male pairings lean toward Tokyo Babylon, X, and Tsubasa instead.
For BL-adjacent CLAMP fans, this is an interesting gap. The plush section seems to understand the appeal of CLAMP’s famous male duos, but skips one of the most obvious pairs from one of CLAMP’s most internationally recognized works.
The CLAMP FANS SHOP goods lineup lists the plushes at $33 each, alongside acrylic keychains, shikishi, clear files, badges, towels, playing cards, wall scrolls, and other merchandise. The CLAMP merchandise will be sold at the animate booth SH-2100 during Anime Expo 2026, held from July 2 to July 5.
