Korean developer Daeinbaes has released a PC demo for its upcoming BL raising and dating simulation game, How to Grow a Man (also known as How to Grow a Man: Turning Chumps to Hunks). The title is currently in development with a late 2026 release window planned for Steam. The developer has also announced plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign in the near future.

The game follows a young man named Chris, who receives a divine revelation from the “Achillean Angel.” Tasked with becoming his ideal self, Chris moves to the capital for a four-year period of self-improvement. The gameplay centers heavily on raising simulation mechanics, requiring players to carefully plan Chris’s daily schedule to build his status parameters. By visiting specific areas, players can trigger seasonal events and deepen his relationships with various men.

Chris’s career path and romantic life will evolve depending on how players manage his stats and schedule. The game features seven romanceable characters and boasts 30 different endings based on the player’s choices. A notable gameplay element in How to Grow a Man is the ability for players to choose Chris’s role in his relationships. The developers have stated that choosing whether Chris is the top or bottom will directly evoke changes in the story and character dynamics as the romance progresses, even when pursuing the same love interest.
