Animate has detailed the contents of its exclusive limited edition set and store bonuses for the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of the BL novel game Ooe (大穢), set for release on December 24, 2026.
The Animate Limited Set, priced at 16,280 yen ($104.36 USD), includes a newly drawn A5 mirrored acrylic framed illustration of the character Ariake, 11 acrylic props featuring standing illustrations of the protagonist and main characters, and a folding fan illustrated with Osaki and Daiba Shizuma. The standard edition is priced at 8,580 yen ($55.00 USD).
Purchases of either the limited set or standard edition at Animate come with exclusive bonuses: a newly drawn washi paper can badge (56mm) of Ariake, a newly drawn washi A4 clear file of Ariake, and a set of 10 mini photo cards using still illustrations from the game.
The Nintendo Switch version includes multi-language subtitle support for Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean (voice acting remains Japanese only). It also adds new elements such as voice acting for the character Hinode (CV: Ayumu Murase) and extra content. A separate official English localization of the original PC version has been announced by MangaGamer, though no release date has been set.
Ooe originated as a BL novel game from the doujin circle ADELTA. It is a mystery-horror title set in a remote abandoned fishing village in the Showa era, following nine criminals and one detective.
